The Denime Lot 224-66 Indigo Selvedge Denim is made with vintage 1966 Levi's 501 in mind. Made from a 14.5oz unsanforized denim, these have a slight hairy surface but with an otherwise more smooth hand compared to slubbier WWII-era denim. This medium weight denim is wolven on original Toyoda GL3 looms that create a subtle unevenness in the texture. This pair comes in a timeless straight cut with a slight taper through the legs, for a medium-to-high rise pair with a timeless silhouette through the legs.
Note: These are unsanforized and will shrink upon wash. The Lot 224-66 denim is cut with a medium-to-high rise and a regular straight fit, with a slight taper, through the legs. DENIME recommends accounting for about 1.5-2" shrinkage in the waist and 2-3" shrinkage in the length.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs wearing size 31 for a waist that is loose (about 1.5" extra fabric when pulled out). Given the expected 1.5-2" of shrinkage in the waist, this should be in-line with a proper shrink-to-fit pair.
