3sixteen's Narrow Tapered NT-220x Double Black Selvedge Denim is their newest cut featuring a roomier upper block with a strong taper from the knee on down. Compared to their ST cut, the NT cut offers a higher rise and slightly roomier thighs for those who were previously restricted by the top block. This cut will also find fans from those who need to hem their pants but found the leg opening too large after doing so. The strong taper from the knee on down means that even chopping several inches off will still result in a quite tapered cut.
All the traditional details of the 220x Double Black Selvedge denim remain - 14.5 oz double black fabric from Kuroki Mills in Okayama, Japan; gunmental custom 3sixteen rivets; selvedge button fly and coin pocket; and a Black Tanner Goods Leather Patch.
Note: The NT cut is similar to ST cut, but with a higher rise and a stronger taper from the knees on down. Recommend most size the same as they do in ST for a similar fit. CT cut remains the cut with the most room in thighs and top block. Denim will experience minimal shrinking with a cold wash, and will stretch back out after several wears. Cold wash and hang-dry.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs (currently closer to 165 lbs) with (moderate) "lifter" thighs, wearing size 33 (same size as ST) for a slim fit.
