This Viberg Black Wooly Chromexcel Service Boot in a chunky 310 last (D width), featuring a rarely seen "Wooly" CXL. This special leather from Horween features a high lanolin content, which allows the leather to naturally mold to your feet, more so than others. These have a slightly more oiled look than traditional CXL, and a nice luster that is not apparent on the originals; additionally, the leather does have a softer and more malleable feel from the start, which will make for an easier break-in period.
The 310 last has a roomy fit throughout and a nice sprung toe box, but with the D-width that this run comes in, these just might be the perfect chunky pair for those who don't have wide feet.
Model: 10E Brannock wearing size 9 (one down from Brannock).
Sizing: We recommend taking one size down from your Brannock, or in line with your other Service Boots in 2030 or 1035 last. The 310 last is one of Viberg's more roomy lasts, so most should take one down from your Brannock, but if you are familiar with your Viberg Service Boot sizing in other lasts (2030, 1035, etc.) and only take 0.5 down, then you could consider taking the same size here. Note that due to the D-width, these may not necessarily fit well for those who have wider feet.
