Iron Heart's 18oz Vintage Selvedge denim comes in this High Rise Tapered cut for one of their roomiest fits in a slightly more breathable and easier to wear denim than some of their heavyweight counterparts. Crafted with a robust 18oz denim from Shinya Mills, this pair embodies authentic vintage denim - slowly woven on old shuttle looms for those coveted vertical fades. These pairs have all the details and sturdiness of Iron Heart denim, but in a slightly lighter weight fabric.
The 888 cut features a medium/high rise with a roomy top block and space in the thighs. If you're one for a comfortable fit but still want a respectable taper, you'll find the 888 cut perfect for you.
Note: These are sanforized and one-washed, so expect little to no shrinkage. Denim will stretch about 1" in the waist after breaking in. For those who like slim fitting jeans, upon first wear the top button should be hard to button-up.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs (currently closer to 170 lbs), with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 32 for a comfortable-slim fit. The waist is snug and the thighs have decent room - not too slim nor too relaxed; and the pair has a moderate taper through the opening.
