Note: These generally run small, so we recommend taking one size up from your typical undergarments size. However, please double check by measuring one of your current underwear and comparing to the posted measurements. Note that the waist measurements may seem small due to the elastic waistband. Though the underwear will shrink upon wash, it will generally stretch back out in all directions to the original size, if not larger (in areas of high tension), except for the length on the inseam and rise (which may come in about 0.25-0.5").
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs (currently closer to 170 lbs), who typically wears M in underwear and 31-33 sizes in pants/denim depending on the cut/fit, would wear a size 6 | L in the Merz 255 Loopwheel Underwear. The waist on the size 6 | L is not too tight nor too loose; the leg opening (at the hem) is quite snug/tight, but after wearing for several hours the leg opening will loosen up nicely for a comfortable fit. Due to the elastic waistband, Model can also wear size 5 | M for a very tight fit all across, but generally would not go down to a size 5 | M unless he dropped another 10 lbs (down to 160 lbs).
