The Flat Head Block Check Flannel is one of the best medium weight flannels we carry. This indigo-dyed version is especially unique in its ability to fade with wear, and still featuring their custom woven herringbone block pattern for a three-season casual flannel. These Flat Head flannels are 100% cotton and woven on vintage shuttle looms that produce slight irregularities in the texture (slub-like). While these aren't super heavy flannels (9.2oz medium weight), they will certainly still serve you well in the winter with some warm layers underneath. Rounding out some of the details are the urea cats eye buttons and a brushed interior for an excellent softness against your skin. The block check fabric is selvedge finished and sewn together at the seams with a double-needle chainstitch.
Note: Runs small, but larger than Flat Head Block Check Flannels in the Western cut. Recommend sizing up one at least one size from your typical American brand tops size. These flannels are cut with a bit more length, so if you have a shorter torso you may need to take additional consideration of the length. These are pre-rinsed, so expect no further shrinkage. On high heat and extensive machine dry, you may experience additional shrinkage.
Mode: 6'0" and 175 lbs (currently closer to 170 lbs) wearing size 42 | XL for a rather relaxed fit and roomy fit, with quite a generous length. Model would definitely opt for size 40 | L instead, which is one down from he typically wears in Flat Head's Block Check Flannels in the Western cut.
