Dehen 1920's Shawl Sweater Coat 2.0 is an exclusive modified Brown colorway. We love these for their Mr. Roger's vibes for a classic sophisticated look, but these are much more versatile than that. Pair it over a pair of denim for an Americana look, or throw it over a flannel for a more rugged outdoors look. These are very warm and will serve you well during the coolest days of the year. These shawls have been modified by taking their Shawl Sweater Coat 2.0 and revising it slightly with internal elbow patches instead of the exterior waxed canvas patch. We loved the convenience of the angled patch pockets from the regular 2.0, but preferred the streamlined look of the internal elbows on the original Shawl Sweater. Otherwise, all the same details apply for this extra heavy duty worsted wool sweater/coat, that will keep you from freezing your bottom off this winter.
Note: Generally runs TTS, although it feels ever so slightly slimmer than previous years. Nonetheless, we'd recommend most people take your typical tops size, or the same size you would if you own other Dehen Shawls. Taking your TTS, you should be able to wear a base layer (tee) and a light button-up shirt underneath.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs. (currently closer to 170 lbs) wearing size M (TTS) for a comfortable fit, neither too slim nor too relaxed.
Measurement Note: The measurements posted for this garment are general targets that we've found to be the average for each size. If you are more particular about the sizing, or know that you need one with a specific measurement within a size, feel free to email us for us to double-check measurements before purchasing. In general, we do not find the variability significant enough to impact the size you should wear.
