Iron Heart's Spring flannels are always an excellent choice to keep you warm throughout multiple seasons. Coming in at a relatively lighter 9oz weight, this American Check Work Shirt in Purple is unbrushed for a hardy hand, which helps make this more of a three-season flannel versus their Ultra Heavy Flannel line. These are inspired from 1970s American flannels and the colors have been reactive dyed to allow for slow fading over time; the indigo squares are indigo dyed that will also fade with wear and washes.
Note: These generally run TTS but on the slim side, so if you are on the middle to larger end of your size, or if you need additional length, we recommend sizing up one. As always, please double check measurements. Cold wash, hang dry for minimal shrinkage. Hot wash, tumble dry may result in additional shrinkage.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs. wearing size L (one up from his typical American brand size, M, and the same size he usually wears in most Iron Heart shirts). The fit is neither too slim nor too relaxed, comfortable fit for a flannel. Model can also size down to M for a slimmer fitting work shirt, but runs a tad short on the body. Model prefers the L for the additional length and can probably use a wash/dry to try and get the shirt to tighten up. See annotated model photos for Medium and Large for comparison.
