The UES 400T Tapered Leg Selvedge Denim is one of their newer cuts in their standard 14.9 oz 100% Zimbabwe cotton fabric. Made on old style shuttle looms with old dyeing methods, the result is a unique touch to each piece that makes them a little uneven in fabric, nep, and dye. The fabric itself has a crunchy feel to it at first, but quickly breaks in and softens up. At face value, this is a no thrills vintage pair of denim, yet packs a bunch of details beneath the surface such as raised belt loops, raised back pocket and front pocket hems, orange and yellow threads for different seams, and a nice larger(er) canvas pocket bag to fit your large phone.
The Tapered cut has a medium-to-high rise with a decent sized top block, that tapers from the knee on down. While they make these unsanforized as a shrink-to-fit pair, we brought in the one-washed version from their factory to reduce the sizing uncertainties that can come with purchasing unsanforized online.

Note: These are one-washed so you should expect minimal shrinkage going forward. Denim will stretch about 0.5"-1" in the waist after breaking in. For those who like slim fitting jeans, upon first wear the top button should be snug/tight. Cold wash and hang-dry.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs, with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 32 (his common denim size) for a slim fit.
