The CS-100x is the Classic Straight cut of 3sixteen's signature 14.5oz selvedge denim from Kuroki Mills. We think this vintage-inspired straight-leg cut is a very comfortable and quite flattering cut, despite what folks accustomed to tapered cuts might think. We're all in on these classic straight cut jeans, and you should be too. These have a medium-to-high rise, relaxed top block with roomy thighs, and an ever so slight taper towards the leg opening - just enough to give it a flattering look without that tubular fit. This denim is the perfect all-season pair that is extremely soft on the inside from the very first wear.
Note: Generally runs larger for a slim fit. You can size down one if you want a slimmer fit through the top block and legs, or you can embrace the relaxed fitting nature of a straight-leg pair and opt for your regular (TTS) size. Waist will be slightly more relaxed and more roomy throughout. Denim will experience minimal shrinking with a cold wash, and will stretch back out after several wears. Cold wash and hang-dry.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs, with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 31 for a slim fit, snug in the waist, comfortable throughout. Model can also wear size 32 (his TTS) for a little more relaxed waist (not sagging), and more comfortable through the hips and legs. Model is accustomed to slimmer pairs, so going with size 31 is already a nice step in the comfort direction and prefers the 31 over the 32.
