The CS-220x is the Classic Straight cut of 3sixteen's 14.5oz double black selvedge denim from Kuroki Mills. This vintage-inspired straight-leg cut is an excellent fit without being too slim nor too relaxed, a quite flattering cut. Coming in a double black denim, these have that dark look to them, but will slowly fade to reveal lighter greys over time. The Classic Straight cut has a medium-to-high rise, relaxed top block with roomy thighs, and an ever so slight taper towards the leg opening - just enough to give it a flattering look without that tubular fit. This denim ranks highly among us as an all-season pair that is easy to wear on both the comfort and aesthetic end.
Note: Generally runs larger for a slim fit. You can size down one if you want a slimmer fit through the top block and legs, or you can embrace the relaxed fitting nature of a straight-leg pair and opt for your regular (TTS) size. Waist will be slightly more relaxed and more roomy throughout. Denim will experience minimal shrinking with a cold wash, and will stretch back out after several wears. Cold wash and hang-dry.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs, with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 31 for a slim fit, snug in the waist, comfortable throughout. Model can also wear size 32 (his TTS) for a little more relaxed waist (not sagging), and more comfortable through the hips and legs. Model is accustomed to slimmer pairs, so going with size 31 is already a nice step in the comfort direction and prefers the 31 over the 32.
