The Denime Lot 232XX-54 Type II Denim Jacket features a brown cotton blend selvedge denim fabric from Kurabo Industries in Japan. This iconic Type II denim jacket features uncut threads throughout (which can be snipped per your preference), and a specially designed slight-brown weft that seeks to reproduce the original denim produced at that time. This jacket features original Type II details such as the front knife pleats, two chest pockets, and an adjustable waist cinch.
Note: These are unsanforized and will shrink upon wash. We generally find these jackets to fit a little large when taking your typical American brand size. After shrinkage, the jacket should fit like a slim fitting jacket. DENIME recommends accounting for about 1-1.5" shrinkage in the chest and shoulders, and 1.5-2.5" shrinkage in the sleeve and body length.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs (currently closer to 170 lbs) wearing size 38|M for a slim but comfortable fit, with ability to snugly fit a sweatshirt/hoodie underneath. If model was going to primarily wear it with no heavy layers (e.g. just a t-shirt), he would go with 38|M. If, however model preferred to wear with heavier layers underneath (e.g. a hoodie), then he would probably go with the 40|L. After a wash, the jacket should shrink up a bit. Model typically wears size M in American brands.
