Iron Heart's famed Ultra Heavy Raw Selvedge Denim returns after a few years of absence. The IH-555S-UHR denim is known for its incredibly dense fabric that was made for masochists and denim enthusiasts alike. A hard break-in and at times can feel like cardboard, these will truly test your limits for who much you love raw denim. These start at 21oz but then becomes closer to 23oz after wash and shrinkage. The UHR denim is unsanforized and loomstate for a truly customized pair as you rinse and wear it in. Made for the true Iron Heart die hards or just the average joe who loves a pair to dedicate towards.
Iron Heart's 555 cut has a medium rise with one of their more aggressively slimmed down legs with a narrow opening. These will work nicely for those who don't have slim to moderate thighs and like their jeans to follow the taper of their legs.
Note: These are unsanforized and loomstate, which means they will shrink about 1" in the waist and up to 2" in the inseam. However, shrinkage in the waist will likely stretch back out with wear to end up close to the original waist. So we would recommend buying the size with a waist measurement currently as you want to end at. The thigh, rise, and hem opening will tend to not stretch back out post-wash. The amount of shrinkage will depend on how vigorously you wash and the method and temperature of washing and drying.
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs, with moderate "lifter" thighs wears 32 for a slim fit (which is his typical IH-555s size). Model can wear size 31 and barely button up the top button in its raw state, but the legs/thighs will likely be too tight after wash and shrinkage. Model would opt for size 32 to maintain needed room in the legs.
