Merz b. Schwanen's (206) Long Sleeve Henley's are one of the most popular henleys on the market, due to their use of 100% organic cotton in a weight that isn't too thick nor thin, and coming in a slim silhouette. The henley works well in all seasons of the year - cool enough as a single layer in the Spring/Summer, and warm enough for a base layer in the Fall/Winter. Made on original loopwheelers in Germany-one of two remaining loopwheeler operations in the world, the result is a seamless tubular fabric that will be your most comfortable henley.
Note: Runs slightly small and due to shrinkage after wash, recommend sizing up one full size (exception is if you intend to wear this as an undergarment or prefer skin-tight fit). Cold wash, hang dry. Length and sleeve will shrink approximately 2" after wash. Other measurements will have about 1" shrinkage after wash, but will stretch back out to original size upon wear. For additional information on sizing and shrinkage, see our blog post here.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs. (currently closer to 165 lbs) wearing size 6 | L (one size up from his regular TTS, M) for a comfortable fit. The henley is a tad relaxd/loose, but should tighten up a little with a wash. At 175 lbs, model would still wear size Large for a slimmer fit.
Measurement Note: Due to the irregularities characteristic of loopwheelers, there will be slight variations within each size. Accordingly, the measurements posted are general targets that we've found to be the average for each size. If you are more particular about the sizing, or know that you need one with a specific measurement within a size, feel free to email us for us to double-check measurements before purchasing. In general, we do not find the irregularities significant enough to impact the size you should wear.
