The orSlow Wide Fit New Yorker Shorts are a more relaxed pair of shorts relative to their standard New Yorker Shorts. These are cut with a similar roomy top block, but with more room through the legs for a generally more relaxed looking pair of shorts. These come in a cotton/nylon blend fabric that is lightweight and excellent for a casual pair of shorts that have quite a similar feel and thickness as their Typewriter cloth.
Note: Our sizes represent the tagged "Japan" size (not conversion to US sizes). Please review the measurements and additional information here. Due to the roomy top block and elastic waistband, most folks can probably size down for a slimmer fit. Measurements of the waist are provided with a lower and upper range, with the lower being the waistband (front and back rise) pulled even at the top, but at rest; and the upper end with the band pulled taut with minimal effort. Because of the elastic band, the waist measurements are a good fit range, but can be smaller (using drawstrings) or larger (if you really wanted to pull it to the extreme). Recommend machine wash cold, hang dry.
Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs with moderate "lifter" thighs, wearing size 1 (one down from his typical American brand size, M) for a comfortable fit with good range of motion and movement available.
