The Pure Blue Japan Sashiko Type 2 Jacket in a new Grey x Black jacquard sashiko fabric. This Type II features the standard front knife pleats and two front chest pockets, but with the added functionality of two side entry pockets on the front. Pure Blue Japan's jackets feature a smattering of details and solid construction details, to include their signature embroidered logo on the left side seam, and chainstitchin construction on the major seams.
Note: PBJ sizes come in numerical sizes only. Accordingly, please check the Size Chart to ensure you get the correct size. As reference, Richard (the main model in our photos) generally wears size M in American brands, and would wear size 4 in most PBJ tees, shirts, and jackets. These jackets are one-washed, so minimal shrinkage expected. However, we still recommend machine wash and hang-dry only.
Mode: 6'0" and 175 lbs (currently closer to 170 lbs) wearing size 3 for a slim fit. Overall the fit is doable and actually works well for a slim fitting jacket with just a light layer underneath. Model can also wear size 3 for a more comfortable fit with room to layer underneath, and also a little more length on the body.
