TCB has built a classic no-frills pair of jeans that will serve you well if you're looking for a high-rise, straight-fit pair that doesn't look ridiculously oversized. These are their reproduction of a vintage Levi's 501, using a custom woven medium weight 13.5oz denim that has an irregular texture and a slight nep, that can lead to beautiful vintage fades over time. In this repro, TCB spared no details by precisely mimicking the original yarn colors in the sewing throughout, and utilizing differing yarn counts as appropriate. Additional details include the selvedge coin pocket and a paper patch for an authentic vintage feel that will ultimately break down and reveal the dark indigo denim underneath it.
The TCB 50's Jeans have a significant leg twist; if this type of thing bothers you we would recommend looking at other denim.
Note: These are one-washed to remove most shrinkage. These generally run TTS for a snug/slim fit in the waist. We recommend taking your typical size that you wear in other Japanese brands. As always, please double check our posted measurements on our Size Chart tab to confirm sizing.
