Warehouse & Company's Reverse Weave Loopwheel Zip Hoodies are inspired from pieces from the 1960s, featuring ribbed inserts along the sides for elasticity and a custom fit. Unlike standard weaves, the reverse weave sweatshirt has the weave running horizontally across the width of the body, instead of vertically. The result is a loopwheel knit that will generally experience more shrinkage in the width as opposed to the length.
Note: Generally runs TTS for a relaxed fit, even after taking into account shrinkage after wash. We recommend taking your typical American brand size for a comfortable, slightly relaxed fit. You can size down if you prefer a slimmer fit. Note that depending on the color, you may get different / varying amounts of shrinkage (see below). Cold wash and hang-dry to minimize the amount/degree of shrinkage.
Shrinkage: Warehouse recommends accounting for the following shrinkage, depending on the color and washing methods:
- Oatmeal and Heather Grey: 1 cm shrinkage in length, shoulder width and sleeve length; 2 cm in body width
- Black and Bordeaux: 2-3 cm shrinkage in length and sleeve length; 1 cm in shoulder width; and 3-4 cm in body width
Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs wearing size 38 | M for a relaxed fit. Taking into account shrinkage, the zip hoodie will likely still fit a little relaxed.
